Measuring Academic Success
At C.A.S.T.L.E., it is critical to frequently collect, analyze and communicate the academic progress of our students to our school community. Our students are formally assessed a minimum of two times per year in addition to participation in required state testing. All new 9th and 10th grade students are required to participate in school-provided assessment. Over the past five years, C.A.S.T.L.E. students have demonstrated net increases in 2011 Writing, Mathematics and Science as well as demonstrated accelerated growth in reading and social studies..
In addition, while enrollment has remained steady, our number of graduates has increased significantly:
Students that are under 18 will not be dismissed early unless the parent writes a note, sends an email or a fax. Legally, the school must have written parental consent. A phone call will not be accepted. This measure protects your child from any fraudulent activities involving truancy.
